- Atascadero Land Preservation Society
- To preserve land and waterways in their natural state in and around the city of Atascadero for this and future generations. ALPS strives to protect scenic and environmentally sensitive lands to maintain the special quality of life in the city.
- Atascadero Native Tree Association
- A community based organization dedicated to the preservation of Atascadero's native trees. This association is included in the Atascadero Community Services Foundation.
- California Coastline
- We've flown over most of the California coastline and have seen the beauty of the natural coastline and destruction that man has wrought unto it. From time-to-time over the years we have volunteered our time and resources to help protect the coast.
- California Native Plant Society
- The local chapter of the California Native Plant Society works to conserve California's native flora in San Luis Obispo and northern Santa Barbara counties.
- California Rangeland Trust

- CCEHP's mission is to raise awareness about health risks posed by pesticide exposure while decreasing our reliance on pesticides through education and advocacy
- Central Coast Natural History Association

- Central Coast Salmon Enhancement
- Central Coast Salmon Enhancement is a volunteer corporation dedicated to the enhancement and restoration of the Central Coast salmon fishery and local creeks.
- Central Coast Vineyard Team
- CCVT is a non-profit grower-group whose mission is to promote sustainable practices on the Central Coast. It represents a collaborative partnership of growers, wineries, consultants, researchers, and natural resource professionals. Not only have CCVT members increased the adoption of environmentally friendly farming practices, but they have shared their experience with other growers in hopes of increasing the acceptance of these practices.
- Citizens for a Vehicle-free Nipomo Dunes
- This organization would like to ban vehicle access to Oceano Beach and the Nipomo Dunes in order to preserve the area.
- Coastal San Luis Resource Conservation District
- The California Native Plant Society (CNPS) is a statewide non-profit organization of amateurs and professionals with a common interest in California's native plants. The Society, working through its local chapters, seeks to increase understanding of California's native flora and to preserve this rich resource for future generations.
- Coastwalk

- The Conservation Fund
- Working to protect America's legacy of land and water resources. Through land acquisition, community initiatives and leadership training, the Fund and its partners demonstrate sustainable conservation solutions emphasizing the integration of economic and environmental goals.
- The CREEC Network
- The CREEC Network links teachers with high quality environmental education resources to improve the environmental literacy of California Students. It stands for California Regional Environmental Education Community and is supported by the California Department of Education and locally by the San Luis Obispo County Office of Education. Region 8 includes the counties of San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura and Kern. The Region 8 Coordinator is Teresa Lees.
- Environmental Defense Center
- EDC is a non-profit public interest environmental law firm that provides legal, educational, and advocacy support to advance environmental quality.
- Friends of Black Lake Canyon
- The Friends of Black Lake Canyon wish to protect the Point Sal area from development and to slow urbanization of the Central Coast.
- Friends of the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve
- Friends of the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve holds the conservation easement over, and plans to manage for the public trust, a newly dedicated open space in Cambria, Ca. The organization will be responsible for monitoring the property for environmental, public-serving, and easement compliance purposes. The organization will also manage the property for the public, raise funds from public and private sources to support management expenses, and provide a forum and vehicle for public input and direction on the management of the property.
