Recycling Information
ECOSLO is known for having pioneered recycling in SLO County in the early 1970's. Currently, recycling is overseen by the San Luis Obispo County Integrated Waste Management Authority (IWMA). A Hot Line, sponsored by IWMA, provides information on waste reduction, recycling, household hazardous waste, composting, disposal options and other miscellaneous information related to integrated waste management.
