Stenner Springs
The City of San Luis Obispo owns 3,000 acres of public open space including much of the land along the eastern foothills of Bishop Peak and Cerro San Luis, the grasslands and foothills east of Laguna Lake and a large portion of South Hills southwest of Broad Street, to name a few. Stenner Springs Open Space is 49 acres with limited hiking trails.
Directions
Head west out of San Luis Obispo on Highway 1 towards Morro Bay. Slightly less than a mile outside of town turn right onto Stenner Creek Road. Follow Stenner Creek Road for about 2-1/2 miles to the end.
