Rules of Trail

Please keep the following rules in mind when exploring the outdoors. Not only will they keep you safe, but they'll help maintain our trails and keep them open for future generations.

  1. No shortcuts: stay on designated trails
  2. Pick up your trash: pack out what you pack in
  3. Don't spook horses: yield to horses on the downhill side of the trail
  4. Protect the wildlife: keep dogs on leash at all times
  5. Don't hike alone: this is mountain lion country
  6. Take only pictures, leave only footprints
