ECOSLO Voted SLO's "Best Friend to the Environment"

Thank you to all our supporters and members who voted us best friend to the environment in San Luis Obispo County! Since 1971, with your help we have accomplished a world of good. The support of our members has allowed us to strengthen our programs, and to develop new and innovative projects and activities to serve our members and the community.

Ongoing programs include the Community Schools Garden Program, in cooperation with the San Luis Obispo County Office of Education and the Natural San Luis/SLO Stewards Program with the City of San Luis Obispo. We have also embarked on a new collaboration with San Luis Obispo County to organize volunteers for County trail maintenance.

Your support also enables us to host events which serve to educate the community on important environmental issues. We hosted a number of successful events recently, including a forum on environmental issues for candidates for County Supervisor and an energy policy workshop. And coming up soon is our 7th Annual Eco Summit, the 23rd annual California Coastal Cleanup Day, and several other exciting new events.

And, of course, your support empowers us to serve as environmental advocates throughout the year and speak on your behalf in favor of healthy ecosystems and livable communities.
