Public Meeting to Discuss Oil Drilling in Huasna Valley

Supervisor Achadjian is hosting a meeting to discuss a proposal by Excelaron LLC to establish four production oil wells and transport crude oil to processing facilities. The project is located on Mankins Ranch, on the west side of Huasna Townsite Road, approximately one mile south of Huasna Road. Up to 8 tanker trucks a day would haul crude oil from the well field. Planning staff invites the public to attend this informational meeting, where staff and the applicant will present an overview of the proposed project, as well as the current status of the where the project is in the process. There will be time set aside for public comment.
