Green Business Research Associate

Position Description
The Green Business Research Associate shall assist staff with writing articles about how local businesses can make their operations more environmentally friendly and how consumers can make their purchases more environmentally friendly. Potential topics for business audiences include: energy efficiency, water conservation, transportation, environmentally friendly purchasing, etc. Potential topics for consumer audiences include: environmentally friendly cleaning products, fair trade, landscaping, home furnishings, etc. Research Associates will be selected for their knowledge of particular issues and how they relate to business operations and/or consumers.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled student working towards a degree in a field related to the area of research
  • Exceptional research and writing skills
  • Highly motivated and capable of working independently to meet deadlines
  • General knowledge of environmental issues and how they relate to business operations and the economy
  • Knowledge of HTML is a plus, but not required

Position Type: Internship
Compensation: Unpaid
Duration: At least one quarter/semester (2-3 months)
Hours: 10-20 per week
