Trail Work, Habitat Restoration & Tree Plantings
Through our Natural San Luis program, ECOSLO maintains trails, creeks, and open space. Work parties go out on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm. Water and snacks will be provided. See our Event Calendar to get dates and times for upcoming Trail Work Parties.
Step Into Being a Docent
As
the City of San Luis Obispo increases its greenbelt area, our Natural San Luis docent
program becomes an important part of efforts to educate the public about San Luis Obispo's natural heritage. We are currently scheduling hikes that will help you step into being a docent and leading leading nature hikes. For more information, talk to one of our docents at our docent led hikes on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Upcoming hikes can be found on our Event Calendar.
As part of the International Coastal Cleanup Day, ECOSLO organizes beach cleanups throughout San Luis Obispo County on the third Saturday of September. If you would like to become a beach cleanup volunteer, visit our Coastal Cleanup Day website.
Internships
