Creeks to Coast Cleanup
This annual volunteer event empowers community members in SLO County to come together to protect our waterways, communities, wildlife, and our neighbors. This year, ECOSLO will once again offer cleanup kits to households around SLO County to hold their own cleanups during the last two weeks of September. To sign up for a Cleanup Kit click here.
Virtual Paint Night with Forever Stoked
This is a collaborative effort with ECOSLO and Forever Stoked to raise funds and awareness for our environment and to celebrate World Ocean Day. Participants will paint an original piece "Cali" by Charlie Clingman. The event will take place Saturday June 5th from 6:00 to 8:30 PM via Zoom.
Join Charlie and friends on a study of this painting inspired by our beautiful coastline. Multiple people can paint along per ticket, but we will only be able to critique and help out with one painting per feed. You will receive as much or as little instruction as you prefer. No artistic experience is necessary...just a good attitude. Use your own painting supplies, or you may purchase a paint kit with all necessary materials from Forever Stoked.

Recommended materials are - Canvas, paint (dark and light colors) and a small set of different size brushes. There will be a 15 minute guest speaker leading into the start of the painting.

Learn about landfill operations and how your recyclables are sorted for recycling, especially as it pertains to San Luis Obispo County. You might even have a new perspective about what we throw away after seeing this thought-provoking program!
