Part Time: 15 hours a week Salary: $12 per hour
Reports to: ECOSLO Board of Trustees
Will have regular contact with the ECOSLO membership, volunteers and the community at large.

Probationary period: Three months.
There is a possibility for expanded hours with increased work load.
Opportunities for increased salary will be based on successful performance.
The successful candidate will need to be someone who is: responsible, organized, efficient, highly motivated, creative and innovative, takes initiative, patient, empathetic, prioritizes the needs of the organization, possesses excellent communication skills, IT literate, and appreciates a flexible work environment. Previous administration experience, the ability to plan and manage resources, and participation in environmental actions are desirable.
Responsibilities include:
1. Membership: Manage and implement all aspects of ECOSLO’s membership which includes: recruiting members, maintaining and updating the membership database; processing new memberships and renewals and sending out thank you’s. Receive and record incoming funds; make weekly deposits; provide monthly updates to the Trustees. Write and coordinate fundraising appeal letters. In general, following the ECOSLO membership protocol manual.
2. Fundraising Events: Help in the creation, planning and execution of fundraising events. Seek out sponsors and donations to support events. Furnish a proposed budget. Upon approval tasks may include, but are not limited to, creation and mailing of invites, decorations, signage, name tags, ticket sales, ad placements, PSAs, press releases and arranging for radio, pring and TV interviews. Must keep detailed records of receipts and expenditure.
3. Volunteer Development: Recruit ECOSLO members to assist with outreach, fundraising, general office work, and representing ECOSLO at public events. Support Program Coordinator in recruiting volunteers for trail maintenance, hikes, and other outdoor events. Blend the membership and volunteer Maintain a database of volunteers and their efforts.
5. General Office: Answer phones and email; delegate inquiries as needed. Make bank deposits, obtain Board Members signatures as needed, pick up mail, keep sufficient office supplies on hand, empty trash, recycle and reuse, etc. As necessary and for the smooth running of the organization support and work with the Program Coordinator.
