Adria Arko, Program Coordinator
Hi, I’m Adria! I am excited to join the ECOSLO team as the new Program Coordinator. I am originally from the Bay Area, and moved down to San Luis Obispo to get my Master’s in Public Policy from Cal Poly, where my emphasis was sustainable food systems. My undergraduate degree is in environmental studies from Pitzer College in Claremont, California. In my free time, I love to garden, cook (and eat!), hike, camp and kayak. I am thrilled to support the great work of ECOSLO, and am passionate about protecting our natural environment and building healthy communities.
Judi Young, Membership Coordinator
Judi Young has joined ECOSLO as our new Membership and Volunteer coordinator. Judi's background includes over twenty years in marketing for technology startups in the Bay Area and SLO small businesses, and she currently serves on the board for California Native Plant Society, SLO chapter as their webmaster and publicity chair. Judi is passionate about plants, animal welfare, and protecting our natural environment and she is excited to bring her enthusiasm, dedication, and experience to the ECOSLO team.
Joey Bashore, Coastal Programs Intern
Hi! My name is Joey Bashore. I interned with ECOSLO last summer to in coordinating the Coastal Cleanup Day event. I attend Cal Poly with a major in Environmental Management and Protection, with a concentration in Hydrology and Watershed Management. I began my 4th year this fall. I enjoy working with ECOSLO because it allows me to be involved with the preservation of the natural environment around us. After college, I hope to work in the water management field and truly make a difference for the betterment of California!
Karina Greek, Fundraising & Event Intern
I'm Karina Greek, the Fundraising & Events intern at ECOSLO. I am a Cal Poly student working to get my degree in Communication Studies. I am in my final year at Cal Poly. I’m really excited to be interning for ECOSLO and gaining experience working for a nonprofit especially one whose aim is protecting and preserving the natural environment.
Haolynn Lu, Programs and Administrative Intern
Hi, my name is Haolynn Lu. I was born and raised in Marin County, and am currently a third year Forestry and Natural Resource major at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, with a concentration in Environmental Planning and Assessment. I enjoy working with ECOSLO because it allows me to help take care of the outdoors, where I spend much of my free time mountain biking, surfing and kayaking. As the Program and Administrative Intern, I am assisting the Program Coordinator with coordination and publicizing our trail maintenance and docent events.
